EDUARDO QUINTERO CHAVARRÍA
I am a civil engineer with a Master's degree in Geophysics, both from the National University of Colombia. I have worked at BRGM (Bureau de Recherches Géologiques et Minières-France), where I modeled the flux through unsaturated soils and also proposed a model to calculate the clay soil product response to environmental changes, as well as the effect of clay deformation on buildings.
I am interested in aspects such as fractured and porous media modeling, groundwater flows modeling and contaminant dispersion modeling . I have worked on the generation of his own groundwater flows models, infiltration in fractured media susceptibility methodologies, as well as on the environmental impact of extractive activities on groundwater and aquifers. I have generated geoscientific information to support the creation of new natural parks.
