I am a Geologist from the National University of Colombia, with a Master's degree in Earth and Environmental Sciences - focus on soil mineralogy, from the University of Poitiers in France.
I have worked as a researcher in soil physicochemical characterization, biogeochemical modeling and digital soil mapping for the University of Hohenheim, the University of Bayreuth and the Helmholtz Center for Environmental Research, in Germany.
Since 2019, with Corporación Geoambiental Terrae, I have participated in several projects in South America, mainly in Colombia, generating knowledge for conservation and sustainable soil management.
My current line of work includes environmental education, programmatic analysis and data visualization, design and implementation of soil quality surveys, satellite image processing and analysis, and machine learning modeling.
